About the property
The original house
Originally built in 1939, the house (picture left) was tiny at 360 square feet with only 3 rooms in total. We purchased it in Sept. 2018. The debate was to build on and remodel or do a new construction. Many rounds of design and permits later, we now have a modern farmhouse named Oak & Barrels to offer for your vacation stay.
The new farmhouse
The Oak tree is one of the most loved trees in the world, and with good reason. It's a symbol of strength, morale, resistance and knowledge. We are gifted with one in our backyard. And the combination of our love of wine, what's more fitting than naming our property, Oak & Barrels. And yes, we do have two barrels grounded next to the oak tree.
Comfortably accommodate up to 4 adults with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a sleeper sofa.
